COI generator for truckers
Built for the driver holding the phone, not for an insurance office. Save your policy once and CertSnap 24/7 turns any broker's certificate-of-insurance request into a signed PDF addressed to that broker alone. Standard ACORD 25 format generated from your saved policy information.
What actually goes wrong on the road
The dispatcher needs it before the load is tendered
You are hooked and ready, but the broker will not release the rate con without a certificate naming their office. A phone call to the agency takes 20 minutes on hold — if they are even open.
Every broker wants a different holder box
Reusing yesterday's PDF gets rejected because the certificate holder, the load number or the endorsement list is wrong. Each request needs its own certificate.
You are in a truck, not an office
No printer, no scanner, no desktop. Whatever you use has to work one-handed on a phone with one bar of signal at a truck stop.
Every field the generator fills for you
| ACORD 25 block | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Insured | Legal carrier name, DBA and physical address as they appear on your policy. |
| Producer | Your agency or brokerage contact block. |
| Insurers A–F | Each carrier with its NAIC number, mapped to the coverage rows. |
| Coverage rows | Auto liability, cargo, general liability and physical damage with limits, policy numbers and effective/expiration dates. |
| Description of operations | Load or reference number and the endorsements the broker asked for, in remarks. |
| Certificate holder | The one broker office and address this certificate is issued to. |
| Authorized representative | Your on-screen signature applied to the finished PDF. |
Who it fits
- Owner-operators running one truck who need a certificate for each new broker — see the owner-operator page.
- Occasional haulers who only need a handful of certificates a year — the Roadside plan covers 12 for $99 a year.
- Dispatchers answering compliance email for several carriers — see the dispatcher portal.
- Small fleets billed per truck from $20 a month with a 3-truck minimum.
What a certificate is — and is not
A certificate of insurance reports coverage that already exists on your policy. It does not create coverage, add an endorsement, or bind anything. If a broker demands an Additional Insured or Waiver of Subrogation your policy does not carry, that is a call to your agent — not a line you type into remarks. CertSnap 24/7 speeds up the paperwork, not the underwriting.
